
For more than three decades, Jamie Thorsen served as an executive managing director with the Bank of Montreal, managing the Global Foreign Exchange group and the China Capital Markets group. Active within the Thorsen McNulty Family Foundation, Jamie Thorsen co-chaired the organization’s Gala and Hat Luncheon.
Established in 1996, the Thorsen McNulty Family Foundation is committed to funding meaningful charitable causes in the local community, as well as educational institutions. In recent years, the foundation has made contributions to entities such as Denison University, a private college based in Granville, Ohio, and the Kents Hill School, a preparatory high school in Kents Hill, Maine.
The foundation has also made generous donations to the National Women’s History Museum in Alexandria, Virginia, which focuses on empowering women by celebrating their contributions to the history and culture of the United States. As of 2019, the Thorsen McNulty Family Foundation had over half a million dollars in assets and $1.2 million in revenue.
